Another month has come and gone and personally February has always been a difficult month and it got even more so this year. Thankfully, books come to my aid and give me somewhere to escape from the world.
Here’s my substantially smaller book haul than I had in January.
Only a Monster – Vanessa Len
I follow the author in Twitter and when she finally announced the release date in the UK, I pre ordered it straight away! I have since received some super cute goodies from Vanessa as a thanks for pre ordering! So excited to read this!
The Bone Spindle – Leslie Vedder
This is a crossover between Sleeping Beauty and Indiana Jones! A book that has been all over my bookstagram so I’m excited to give this a go as I really enjoyed Cinder.
What Once Was Mine – Liz Braswell
This was gifted to me by one of my best friends for Christmas (we did Christmas late, hence why it’s included in the February book haul). It’s the latest edition in the twisted tales saga and this one revolves around the tale of Rapunzel.
The Manningtree Witches – A.K. Blakemore
This book plunges us straight into the English witch hunts and witch trials where betrayal and distrust is running riot.
I’ve read a lot less this month than last month but my latest book did have like 300 pages more than the other books so I feel this is a fair excuse. I’ve read 2.75 books in the month of February which included the final two books in the Harry Hole saga. Of the books I’ve read, my favourite would be The Thirst. I also read 1392 pages which is a whole 306 pages less than in January so I feel like I need to up my game next month!
Until next time,
Keep reading,
